Marsh Hawk Press champions poets — seasoned and new — through annual prizes.
The Marsh Hawk Press Poetry Prize offers a cash award of $2,000, plus publication of the winning book. The Marsh Hawk Press Robert Creeley and the Rochelle Ratner Memorial Awards offer cash prizes of $250 each and are chosen from finalists’ manuscripts submitted to the contest.
Prizes are judged by a poet of national stature. The winners’ names and title of the winning book are announced and advertised nationally.
Submit Your Manuscript
We accept manuscripts for the Marsh Hawk Press Poetry Prize and the Rochelle Ratner and Robert Creeley awards between December 1 and the following April 30 each year. The nominal submission fee of $30 is required and non-refundable.
