Jacquelyn Pope was educated at the University of Minnesota and Boston University. Her poems, essays and translations have appeared in journals and newspapers in the United States and Europe, including Poetry, The New Republic, Gulf Coast, AGNI, and Partisan Review. Her work has received the José Marti Prize (The Netherlands), as well as awards from the Academy of American Poets and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
